New features
-
Climb/descent rate colouring in track log files
For the benefit of glider pilots, we've added an alternative view to
our track log exports for Google Earth, with the track line coloured
by climb or descent rate - green for level flight or cruise descent,
red for rapid sink and blue/purple for rapid climb. Select the layers
you want to view in the My Places panel.
-
Shared files page
Your shared files page shows a list of the plans and track logs
that you have marked shared or public. Send the link to your
friends and family. You'll find a link to the page in the right
hand panel when you're logged in. Note this page shows an error
if you have no shared files - this is for security.
-
Reverse flight plan
To simplify planning a return trip, we've added a reverse function
to the interactive map. After creating a plan simply go to the map
and click reverse.
-
GPX export
Many GPS units come with software that supports importing GPX route
plans into the GPS. Look under print and export options on the plan
page to export your plan.
